At LiveWell we pride ourselves on our excellent staff. With a very diverse team of great people coming from a variety of backgrounds, we here at LiveWell will be sure to help you jump start your health and well being.

Dr. Crystal Longo

Dr. Longo received her doctorate degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2002 and started her practice in the Bobcaygeon Medical Centre.  Over the next few years it became obvious that the majority of physical complaints people suffered were related to faulty postures or habits and muscle weakness.  For this reason, she travelled back to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College on weekends for three years to obtain a fellowship degree in Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation.  Next, she completed her acupuncture certification at McMaster University.  Presently, she and her husband have opened the LiveWell Centre in Bobcaygeon to provide the ideal setting for both injury recovery and athletic performance in their community.

Dr. Longo's priority is to get people feeling better so they can enjoy life.  She continually strives to improve her knowledge and skills by participating in regular continuing education courses.

By collaborating with other healthcare providers Dr. Longo, ensures the most appropriate and comprehensive plan of management for each patient.

In addition to the busyness of a full time practice and raising two sons, Dr. Longo is actively involved in the Bobcaygeon community and served as the President of the Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank for four years.  She loves to hike, ski, and travel.

Chris Longo, PA1, PN1, PTS

Chris has been involved in the fitness industry professionally since 2001.  He obtained his personal trainer specialist designation early in his career, and quickly became eager to further his knowledge base.  Over a decade has passed and Chris has developed his working knowledge through several certifications and courses.  He holds current certificates as a Power Athlete Block One coach, Can Fit Pro Personal Trainer Specialist, and Precision Nutrition Essentials in Sport and Exercise Nutrition Level 1.
Chris is driven to improve people's functional fitness and overall health.  In his dedication to fitness and nutrition, Chris credits much of his success with his athletes to the Precision Nutrition and Power Athlete methodologies.
Chris loves the outdoors. He enjoys hunting, snowboarding, gardening, and moving heavy things.

Katherine Greig, RMT

Katherine is a Registered Massage Therapist, and a member of both the RMTAO and the CMTO, who joined the LiveWell team after moving to Bobcaygeon from Toronto in 2015. A lifelong interest in the science of health and wellness, combined with an active lifestyle kayaking, hiking and gardening, drew her to massage therapy as a career, and she has been in practice since completing studies at Elmcrest College of Applied Health Sciences in 2010. With experience in both spa and clinical settings, Katherine employs swedish, myofascial, deep tissue, cranial sacral, and sports massage techniques, to address the muscle imbalances and tension in the body that lead to discomfort and pain. Whether seeking relief from stress and minor issues like headaches, or more intense rehabilitation from accidents and injuries, her treatments are tailored to meet the individual needs of her clients, with a special nod to pressure and overall flow during a treatment session.

Emm Shaw, RMT

Being born and raised in Thailand, Emm graduated from The Traditional Thai Massage School in 2012.  She met a Bobcaygeon boy in Thailand and, luckily for our community, he brought her to our town in 2013.  She has been working at LiveWell since 2014 as our Thai Massage therapist.

Emm has recently obtained her Registered Massage Therapist designation and is now offering traditional table massage as well as traditional Thai Massage.

Her interests include staying in touch with her friends and family across the world as well as windsurfing.

Sarah Bell, RMT

With a passion for helping people reach their personal wellness goals, Sarah Bell graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2004 as a Registered Massage Therapist.  She has extensive experience with rehabilitation, sports injuries, and motor vehicle accident injuries. Sarah is primarily a deep tissue therapist and is certified in hot stone massage.

Her passion for self-sufficiency keeps her busy with her own farm and garden where she loves to pickle and can her own produce.

Julie MacKay

Julie is the glue that keeps the rest of Team LiveWell operating in an organized and orderly fashion!  As our office manager, she is capable of answering any administrative, scheduling, billing, or service questions you may have.  Julie has a wonderful ability to interact with the public, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Julie is a genuine Bobcaygeon-ite, being both born and raised here and then raising her son Tyler here.  She is very familiar with small town living and the importance of supporting your community.  Her passions include her son, travel, a good book and fine wine.
