Dr. Longo received her doctorate degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2002 and started her practice in the Bobcaygeon Medical Centre. Over the next few years it became obvious that the majority of physical complaints people suffered were related to faulty postures or habits and muscle weakness. For this reason, she travelled back to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College on weekends for three years to obtain a fellowship degree in Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation. Next, she completed her acupuncture certification at McMaster University. Presently, she and her husband have opened the LiveWell Centre in Bobcaygeon to provide the ideal setting for both injury recovery and athletic performance in their community.
Dr. Longo's priority is to get people feeling better so they can enjoy life. She continually strives to improve her knowledge and skills by participating in regular continuing education courses.
By collaborating with other healthcare providers Dr. Longo, ensures the most appropriate and comprehensive plan of management for each patient.
In addition to the busyness of a full time practice and raising two sons, Dr. Longo is actively involved in the Bobcaygeon community and served as the President of the Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank for four years. She loves to hike, ski, and travel.
